This is a freeware useful for both beginners and advanced users alike. Many times we come across variations of colors that we would like to have in our own work. It's just too difficult to get that colour just by trial and error, and that is where Color Picker comes to the rescue. There are various commercial sharewares available, but this one is very small and absolutely free.

Color Picker helps to pick 'any' color that may be available on any part of the PC screen. All you have to do is to run the application and click a point where the desired color is located.Once you click a spot, the value of the color in long,HTML and RGB values are displayed. You can also choose from a variety of skins available.

Disadvantages:

Not much helpful when dealing with varying shades of color.

  2. Is Vista not supported yet?

The best thing I can say is, about its price which is $0. How I wish too the color can be better and have better choices.

On the side, thanks for adding your valuable ideas here. Much appreciated my fellow web blogger.

  3. @Webbielady,

This was released long back and a newer version hasn't come yet.

The only reason I reviewed it was because of its small size and its price of 0$.
